Still to this day there is some debate as to rather Bee meant that as a compliment or a jab at Jackson. I go with most and believe he meant it as a compliment. While Jackson was seen as odd by many, I do not think there was any that doubted his valor or commitment to duty. GEN. I agree Tony especially when you consider Bee was doing all he could to prevent a rout. Unfortunately for Mr. Bee he didn't survive to see what his moniker for Jackson became, a shame. Maj.Gen.
