Has anyone played Three Days at Gettysburg by GMT games? System is based on Terrible Swift Sword but is expanded. Looks great. I am particurily interested in play balance. Colonel Tony Best Army of Georgia |

The game really looks good. Looks like Berg has pulled the best of the old TSS and added features SPI later came up with in other games to it. Unfortunately the days when I had a place to lay out a three map cardboard game and a physical opponent to play it with are long gone. My guess is that it is balanced since it has a nice set of activation rules to control the availability of brigades but I will probably never know. But I do have TSS stored away in my closet.[:D] LG. <font face="Book Antiqua"><font size="4"><font color="limegreen">Gents! I have so many of the old board games. TSS and A Gleam of Bayonets were two of my favorites. My gaming buddy and I would rotate weekly evenings to game A Gleam of Bayonets. We each own a set and would pain stakenly record the position and strength of each unit after the evening came to a close, then the other guy hosting would set his game up for the next round of gaming. Well those were the days, but they just don't compare with today and the computer gaming. No more guessing or counting out the movement points or LoS. You can't beat it for getting in some gaming as today!
