Gentlemen:

It has given me great pleasure to hereby awarded the Samuel Cooper Medal of Service and the VMI OCS Medal and Ribbon, for his outstanding long-term service over the course 8 years of his tenure as a Vicksburg Military Institute Training Officer from 7 January, 2000 to the present date. During this period General Russ Levy has trained 55 Cadets for military service in the CSA. He has displayed the skill and competence required by an Instructor of The Vicksburg Military Institute and is a credit to this Institution, the Army and the Confederate States of America.
