Gil Renburg, one of the developers of the <b>Forge of Freedom</b> game, informs me that a long-awaited patch has been released which fixes the issues that had formerly impacted upon PBEM play. Gil states in reference to the ACWGC Union Army's FOF battle and campaign ribbons that, <i>"So, for those who want to earn those ribbons you created but didn't want to play until the game was fixed, it's now safe to go back in the water..."</i> The new patch can be accessed at the following Matrix Games url: http://www.matrixgames.com/products/333 ... 01861-1865 Maj. They don't seem to be using a standard method for their download. It triggers my Core FTP Lite but it apparently can't connect to their site. Anyway it won't download anything from that link page. LG. Kennon Whitehead Chatham Grays 1/1/III AoM (CSA) |

I don't remember reading about someone with trouble downloading from Matrix. But then, they were having FTP problems a few weeks ago, so maybe this is a holdover. If you try again and it's still not working please e-mail support@matrixgames.com. They'd want to know about this sort of problem. |
