Gentlemen,

Congratulations on your promotions! All well deserved... well, except possibly for Alvin Baker (he's from Oklahoma, ya know)... there just has to be some sort of error there! But ya know... he's ok too! [:)]

I can say without a doubt it's a <b>GREAT DAY</b> for the Fourth "Cavalry" Corps... to see two of our finest Officer's promoted. Jon Hooper to Major General and Jan Welleman to Brig. General. Awesome! A Corps Cmdr couldn't ask for two finer men to command his First & Second Divisions!

And with Brig. General Tom Moore receiving his promotion... the Army of the Mississippi is very well represented! Hoorah!

I wish continued success to all the fine Officer's represented here and to all the men who serve in their commands!
