Post subject:  Wanted - Chief of Staff for the Western Command
Gentlemen of the South <salute>,

I am looking for a keen young or old officer as my Chief of Staff. It will be a great opportunity to see the inner workings of the CSA and to participate in the planning the demise of the Union Armies.

Applicant Criteria

1. Be from the Western Command of the Confederacy – I will consider applicants from other commands, but it would only be with the agreement of their Army Commander. Yanks can apply, but they must have in an application to change sides and they must have bathed recently
2. Must be socially capable, as there are a number of mandatory social functions in Richmond – the Commander of the Western Theater is a bit of a ladies man and does not want to be embarrassed
3. Must be a good horseman
4. Must have a good moustache

Conditions of Service

1. A new uniform will be provided – we do not want any old frontline tat at the HQ
2. The pay is lots
3. A horse will be provided
4. A health plan is available, but it does not cover lead poisoning
5. No tall hats are to be worn – bad form
6. No wives of sweethearts at the HQ, nearby is fine

2. Woop any Yankee with both hands tied behind his back.
3. Like Eastern NC Pork BBQ, cheesy grits, sweat tea, Hush puppies, corn bread[:p]
