You know the old saying, "The winners write the history"....Certain people come out heroes and certain ones are villified. An example might be that man Sherman who is greatly honored though a strong case for him being considered a war criminal can easily be made. It is all a matter of ones point of view. Meanwhile Confederate monuments and reminders of Southern heritage are being slowly eradicated all over the South by the politically correct crowd. I look around the club today and am sometimes reminded that history repeats itself even here. I think of times Notso long ago, and think alas of where we have come to.
