Post subject: Tillercon Game

Ernie's pictures reminded me that for the last Tillercon I had created a scenario featuring a breakout from Vicksburg that was played throughout the tournament. George Denney asked me awhile back if I would create smaller scale scenarios for this one. We had six computers last time, three to a side. Does anyone have any comments about this? Also, if anyone else would rather put something together, that would be fine with me.

Mike,

Thanks for putting that scenario together, it was a lot of fun.

A meeting engagement of about 20 to 25 turns would be good with not to much maneuvering before making contact. With 6 players at 5 minute turns per player each turn should take about half an hour.
As I remember the game at Tiller was enjoyable but we were never able to come to a decisive conclusion after two days of playing.

I only kibbitzed on that game, but I remember a LOT of banter between the sides in ALL the games.

Good fun for all.

Not much feedback, but thanks to those who responded. Who all would be interested in even participating? Doesn't make much sense for me or Bill to create a scenario no one wants to play.

At this point I don't know how much gaming time I'll have since I'll be helping with discussion groups & running the HPS booth. So don't want to commit to much before I get there and see...
