Great news for both men of the North and of the South. Finally the graphics file for Gettysburg is ready for download http://old-banshee.yolasite.com/downloads.php this package has taken an awful lot of time and effort in the main by Rick DeNicolo and Bill Lott who worked on the oob's and leader images, James Wilkes whose quality controll has ripped these mods apart looking for errors and we believe we have everything right, And me who just tinkered a few things here and there. A big thankyou to the team. We have reserched all the leaders and have coloured the original photos. We have managed to get photos of most of the leaders but as you may or may not know some have no images. For these we have used subtitutes. I would say that we have about 95% accurate images if not more. A hell of a lot more than the original leaders bmp. We have added state flags to lower ranking generals and Corp and Division flags where needed. We hope you enjoy these mods and if you find any errors or need anything from the team please let us know. Please give feed back. The link will take you to the "Old Banshee" Website where you will find the available files on the downloads page. It will give you re-worked Leaders & Units Bitmaps and OOB files to replace your existing standard ones. These mods ONLY alter the graphical presentation with the intent of improving the game experience. NO changes have been made to any technical parameters. All leader images have been "colourised" and new unit cards created to add colour and variety to the Armies of North & South. This has been done by changing the OOB files. You will also find similar files available for HPS Campaigns Antietam, Chancellorsville & Peninsula. The team is currently working on a release for HPS Franklin and plans to cover all 11 titles eventually. |
