Post subject:  Wanted - New CoS for the CSA Western Theater
Officers and Gentlemen of the Western Theater of the Confederacy I am now looking for a new Chief of Staff to replace General Stiles, who has been called east.

Are you a bit tired of the ho hum of being a Brigade Commander or Division Commander, spending your time whipping yanks? How up stepping up and into the world of higher command? It will be your chance to see some real action at staff level – the back stabbing, the office intrigue, the liberal use of spin, wild parties at public expense, the first class travel, the mistresses, the misuse of power – yes the job has it all.

Any candidate must have the following:
A good moustache
Be a good horseman – but not such that he will show up his general
Be good at cards
Must be teetotal as his general will do enough drinking for both
Be very good with the ladies, polite conversation etc – his general will look after the ogling and assorted nefarious activities
Be able to spell correctly - because his general can't

Benefits:
The position pays 5 Admin/Conduct points per month
A new lease horse every 12 months
A generous uniform allowance
Free chewing tobacco

So do you have what it takes to be the CSA Western Theater Chief of Staff? If you do please send me a dispatch. No time wasters or yanks need apply

Gentlemen

I recommend this as a "plum" assignment. Gen McOmish only covers the bare essentials here (doesn't he always? :wink: ). The CSA WT HQ Team is the place to be for fun and adventure and women and booze and .......I could go on forever. The WT HQ also practices "ongoing professional education" - Gen McOmish's staff and strategy conferences are a party - sorry event never to be missed. I highly recommend this position.
