Officers and Gentlemen of the Confederacy As ordered by the retiring Chief of the Armies of the Confederacy, General Willie Tisdale, awards parades have been held at your respective taverns - please adjourn to your taverns as the General will be covering the bar tab for the next 3 hours.

The Army of Northern Virginia is here! We were thinking of a 21 Gun Salute for General Tisdale but have decided on something better..... A 100 TOAST SALUTE!!!!!!! followed by the 21 Gun Salute!!!  This party should go off with a bang - damn we just missed Guy Fawkes - maybe we can add that in too. We wish you well Sir Hey Lt Hawkins don't steal Gen Strickler's drinks - the ones with the pink umbrellas! |

I have just come back from a circuit of the Rebel field army taverns where everyone seems to be walking around bent over from all of their new chest hardware! I've never seen so many awards made in one day anywhere, nor have my ears ringing from all that medal clinking together! But I managed to steal a few furtive drinks from each bar, nonetheless. Well, actually more than a few...but that's because most of it was stolen Union liquor and I was trying to reclaim as much of it as I could! Now I'm in terrible need of the use of the MDT urinals, but they are all jammed up with shouting, boisterous Confederate officers! I think that I'll just go out back by the river! Wait a minute! Isn't that General McOmish standing over there directing the unloading of those wagons? THOSE ARE UNION WAGONS!!! I see that I'll have a long afternoon of reclamation duty! Maybe I'll get a medal, too! |

Gen Stiles, <salute> It gives me Great Pleasure to tell you that i'm not Very Fond of the Pink Umbrellas....Phew!  Now if ....Suh you said Violet Umbrellas......then I might have to go AWOL!...For fear of not adding to my already Stellar Collection! I'd also like to Report a Yankee was seen by Gunter....eye'ing up the River in the Back yard......  I think he was planning to construct a pontoon bridge walking up and down....all quickly and suchHe kept grabbing at his lower area.... Gunter High Tail'ed it out of there for fear of some Yankee Wonder Weapon He promptly informed the nearest Sentry..... |
