Officers of the Confederacy <salute> I am pleased to announce that Lieutenant General Scott Ludwig has been appointed as the Commander of the Western Theater of the Confederacy. Aw, nuts! We thought that Cam might have selected someone a little less capable to fill his old command, but I see that he's got his mind set on strong, durable commanders who'll keep trying to press the issue right across the board! Say, Scott, you aren't going to be taking any tavern drinking or raiding lessons from your predecessor, are you? (Ernie, I hope that all of those shots were aimed! The designers have been generous to us in the ammunition department, but I can't have you going about burning out all of the tubes just for the sheer noise of it!) Congratulations, Lieutenant General Ludwig! (Where are the drinks being served?) |

Ernie I have to agree with General Meyer, try not to burn those tubes out as we will want to get some use out of them when we capture them  Nothing nicer that using a Union made canon on Yanks

Gents, Thank you all very much! Cam - thanks for letting me serve again, it is good to be serving such a fine officer as yourself.  Neal - thank you for the welcome. Last time I was in command of the West you were a Field Lieutenant....now a Major General, my how thet grow up! Gator Alley's reputation is very well known....Robert - Thank your Sir, a drink for you, even if you are a yank. For your brothers too... DJ - Thanks! I will be sure to send some booze we capture back your way....  Oh Lord! I get to face off against Ernie Sands! The last surviving actual Civil War Veteran....   This will be a very hard duty indeed....I didn't know YOU were over there. Hell they could of sent Jeff Laub, least he I can try to beat....but the Venerable Sarge! Guess I'll need to get a few Navy boys to come with....    Thank you though Ernie, I am asking Forrest to round up a few of your wagons to help "relieve" you of some booze....Stefan - the other "Prussian" in this place.... Yes Mr. Davis needs everyone to win this War. Far cry from Blucher though.... General Meyer - The famous Yankee Doodle himself... Thank you for your compliments....I can assure you that I will be sure to keep those tubes firing all the time... As for tavern raiding and drinking....I am sure you'll see some of that going on...
