Gentlemen, I am happy to share with you all the latest batch of innovations that are changing the War between the States in numerous ways. The first was invented by Mr. Fred Finkleman of New Port, Connecticut. Although it lacks a steam engine the metal sided wagon is surely a fine place to sleep on a rainy night. ![]() Next we have a prototype of the newst wagon wheels for the Confederate Heavy Artillery. You should see the horses that pull this thing! ![]() Lastly, a California inventor has submitted this design for a "flying" machine capable of delivering nasty worded insults to the enemy below. ![]() How will these new inventions change our war? Only time will tell. |

The wagon wheel and pick look like they came from a Paul Bunyon exhibit and we all know Paul was a Unionist! And he used Big Blue to pull that wagon, the Rebs only had dainty thoroughbreds to pull their buggies. |

Paul Bunyon was a Confederate Spy and secretly worked to keep the invaders out of the Confederate States of America. Sorry you were mislead. |

Paul was a Unionist? Well we all know King Kong was a Rebel at heart after his reign of destruction in New York City. King Kong vs. Paul Bunyon My money is on Kong! Sure, Paul can swing an Ax but the King can use his mad ape skills to avoid the swing and pounce on Paul after he misses. Let's just hope there is no foreign intervention as Godzilla could shift the balance of power one way or the other. ![]() |

Yes Paul was a Unionist. He lived in Minnesota and they don't allow Rebs in the Land of Sky BLUE waters. If he was a spy, he didn't give the Rebs much info out of the Land of 10000 lakes. I don't remember Lee getting up that far. ![]() |

We didnt lose the war... we are merely allowing the Union states a breather before we rise again. |

General: --I received your letter of this date containing the terms of the surrender of the Army of Northern Virginia as proposed by you. As they are substantially the same as those expressed in your letter of the 8th inst., they are accepted. I will proceed to designate the proper officers to carry the stipulations into effect. R. E. Lee, General I have a stack of similar letters from numerous southern gentlemen. |
