One day, two yankees named Joe and Mark were driving down the road, drinking a couple of Buds. The passenger, Joe, said "Lookey thar up ahead Mark, it's a po-leece roadblock! We're gonna get busted fer drinkin' these here beers!" "Don't worry Joe," Mark said. "We'll just pull over and finish drinkin' these beers, peel off the label and stick it on our foreheads, then throw the bottles under the seat." "What fer?" asked Joe. "Just let me do the talkin', okay?" said Mark. They finished their beers, threw the empty bottles under the seat and slapped the labels on their foreheads. When they reached the roadblock, the sheriff said, "Have you boys been drinking?" "No sir," said Mark, "we're on the patch." An obvious fabrication as anyone who knows me knows it wouldn't be Budweiser! |

What a novel idea...the beer patch! I wonder...Oh, oh! I believe that I will have my staff find a foolproof method for the fixation of those labels upon the bottles in such a way that they cannot be removed without essentially destroying them! If our womenfolk should ever find out about this patch technique, we'd be in serious trouble. At the moment we may still plead our occasional loss of sobriety upon the well-respected Duty Principal! "If something is fashioned by man for man's use, then he ought to use it!" This aptly and especially applies to every spirited drinking concoction ever invented, and need only be convincingly delivered with as much manly finality and righteous indignation as we can muster as we stagger off to our beds. |
