| Post subject: | Help adding new Corinth file |
I couldn't get an add on game to work in Corinth 1.01....I have Win 7....Deleted old Corinth files....Added new file not in X86 programs file...Put new folder in my documents...Installed game...Can get campaign games to work....But not the regular games...Screen automatically goes to the ready screen....Can not get file selection dialog screen to find games and files......Any suggestions....also how can I get this new game to run without a disc .......thanks You Gen John Dragan 3/2/2 AoA |

NOTE: Starting with this version, no CD-check is performed by the main program and all documentation is supported only in PDF format, available from the Help menu in each application. |

Versions above that up to v1.10 are not able to be modded. If you have not already done so, check out: http://www.hpssims.com/vistahelp.htm If you are not modding Corinth, then I am not sure why Corinth will not work. Before updating, you should get original to work. Make sure the game installed correctly, with all appropriate folders. (Check on a working game for folders). If all looks correct, try to re-install. Version 1.01 WILL NOT work without a CD, either the original or an all games disk. Version 1.10 no longer requires a CD. If all else fails on your install, email support[at]hpssims[dot]com. |

You might have deleted something you need, the only files you need to delete are the original .scn files if you want to conserve hdd space and the leaders.bmp and units.bmp files in the info folder The best write up for setting up a Corinth 1.01 folder is at http://www.brettschulte.net/ACWCGDC/ |
