How do you embed an image into a topic post? I click on "Img" and it generates the tags but it NEVER prompts me for the location of the image file on my local machine to put in between the tags. |

OK, I was able to embed an image from the web using the URL, but can you not embed an image file from your local machine? Does it have to be a web URL? |

The file has to be on an internet server, can't be on your own pc. Some internet providers such as Comcast allow file sharing for pictures and such, these can often be used to host an image. Also the place where it is stored also must allow remote loading, some free website providers do not allow files to be loaded to other servers. The old Yahoo Geocities webpages were like that. If you don't have your own webpage access or file sharing site check with whoever handles your army webpage, they may be able to upload the image onto the army site for you to access it. Several AotP members use the AotP site for access to their brigade flag image copying the url from the webpage to plce into the image tag. |
