Read the James Thurber snippit, "If Grant had been drunk at Appomattox" It is a part of "Thurber Carnival." I played Grant. |

As usual a fine example of penmanship. Although I will state for the record I damn peeved that Gen Joe Wheeler got to play the part of me in the play - I though the part was written for N B Forrest. |
