It is with much regret I inform you all that Colonel Kent Olson, 6th Brigade, 1st Division, II Corps Army of Georgia passed away last Monday. His daughter Stacie Olson contacted Colonel James Foster yesterday to inform him of the news. Kent joined the ACWGC back in May 2001. Although not that active in the mid years of his service due to (I believe) health issues he was back in the saddle from mid-2007. I knew Kent from my time as a fellow member of the AoG I Corps. - a gentleman and only too willing to help. Kent also served as the VMI Dean of Cadets, VMI in 2007. You will be missed Suh! <SALUTE> |
