Yes most excellent to see the young being promoted, it means many many Yankees have paid the ultimate price ($24.5 - Thirsty Ferret IPA) |

It was just a matter of time until the CSA High Command could figure out a another reason to flood the bars with juice and celebration. They still don't know that the war is essentially a done deal and that they'll be traipsing back home with little to show for it. The older vets like McOmish. Ludwig and Kunz know it, of course, and have designated the second Tuesday of each month as "Down-In-the-Mouth Day," at which they imbibe mug after mug of stale hickory juice and commiserate with each other over their plight. But these newer officers still dance about the tailors' outlet getting their sleeve braid enlarged and collar insignias changed, waving their promotional certificates about, slapping themselves on their backs and chortling about their next big, coming victory. Still I suppose that it's an act of kindness to them to let them think that they are embarked upon a glorious career by offering them a salute or two from across the field. (I know that this may not be the best time or place to have my question answered, but does anyone know what a "warbison" is?!!!) |

(I know that this may not be the best time or place to have my question answered, but does anyone know what a "warbison" is?!!!) Indeed it is and rightfully so! The war is far from over, especially since Cam has been able to acquire General Simms' latest uniform that was hanging outside his tent and guarded by 12 of the Union's "best soldiers"! ![]() ![]() ![]() A Warbison you ask! I submit this real life photo of General Kunz & McOmish watching you all run away at Fredericksburg last winter. Notice Nick is on his Warbison: ![]() |

I'd like to know how you get on and off of that beast! Or does Cam just follow Nick around so that he can offer his shoulders as staging? |
