Gents, just an observation...but I've seen precious few grey backs in the Tavern as of late. Did we really drive them all back to mom and wife????
General Meadows is here and a few others...but the ranks have definitely thinned. Even the ones that frequented here dont seem to show up anymore.
*drains glass and empties bottle into glass*
Ah well. Guess that means more liquor for us....right?
Bartender....another bottle, please!

I won't say whose wives but they are out.

My wife has learned to use a gun... so here I sit. Never should have taught her to shoot.

You know.... (looking around to make sure no higher ranking officers are around) ... if we really wanted to start some trouble we should suggest dividing the Club between Yanks and Rebs and then meeting on some street corner like the Jets and Sharks. You Yanks take chains we will take bricks. We can settle the whole thing in an afternoon. After you are defeated we will be sure to honor your memory with a good stiff drink or two before rolling your corpses into the sewers for Pennywise.

What's in this drink anyways? :shock:

It's an idea, sir, it's an idea. However, you are assuming that we could get all the Rebs together. THEY DONT EVEN SHOW UP HERE FOR FREE LIQUOR ! I don't think they will show up for a chance to be brained with a chain.

Sorry Gents I have been away whipping Yanks, as well as fighting a few battles. I was some 20 miles away when I am sure I heard the word free drinks, so I have arrived, with my drinking boots on. Now lets have a tot or 15 of the Snake Bite and then move on to something a bit stronger.

I stole my drinking boots from some dying congressman whos carriage had flipped near the First Manassas. I also rescued his lovely daughter, however I dumped her when I found his extensive liquor supply :mrgreen:

Agreed. More drinks.... wait... what is this Budweiser Zero crap?! Who brought this?! By God, sirs, this is an outrage! I nearly drank it! Tastes like beer but with zero alcohol and just 50 cal.. or...ies...? What in tarnation is that? This is a drink for a woman!
