That's a New England Yankee if I ever saw one.

Evidence:
1) The giant bag of plastic bottles waiting to be taken to Stop and Shop. Only 11 states have deposit laws and none are in Dixie (we recycle our stuff from the goodness of our hearts!).
2) The architecture of the homes is more New England with the dormers on top.
3) The correct use of "doesn't" as a contraction, instead of "don't" as is commonly used in the South, smacks of Yankeeism.
4) No tan. The sun always shines in the South.
5) If that was in Dixie that flag would be in FRONT of the house and not on a shed in the backyard!

That'd be Hannafords or Shaws for the time period I lived in VT. Only because the Stop & Shop had already departed town.
