Gentlemen! The nomination period for the election of the UA Cabinet Secretary vacated by Major General Jim Boling has closed. Major General Steve Sober was duly nominated and has readily agreed to serve in this position. Club Rule 3.3.4.1.7 states: “In the event only one candidate has been nominated by the end of the nominating period, that candidate will be elected by acclamation and no vote will be necessary.” This outcome has been certified by the Election Committee. Therefore, it is my pleasure to welcome General Sober to the ACWGC Cabinet and to express my appreciation for his commitment to the welfare and future of our Club that he is making by assuming this office. <SALUTE> |
