Gentlemen

On behalf of the Cabinet it is my pleasure to announce the promotion of Lt. General Scott Eichelberger to General in the ACWGC.

Lt Gen Eichelberger meets or exceeds all stated qualifications for this promotion as described in the Club Rules. He joined the Union Army as a 1st Lt in July of 2018. He was subsequently appointed as Division Commander 2/V/AotP. His sterling record, exceptional organizational and leadership skills, and enthusiasm brought about his appointment by then UA CoA Michael Dowling for service as UMA Superintendent in April 2020; a position he still holds with distinction. As superintendent, he has recruited a highly qualified body of instructors and refurbished the academy’s processes and procedures. General Eichelberger was also elected to a UA Cabinet Secretary seat in June, 2020.

Please join me in a heartfelt salute to this Officer for his service (paying forward as he likes to say) to our Club!
