I always wondered why Col. Campbell had that extra trunk of clothing in his tent. The explains a lot!!! This also explains why his visiting "sister" looked so much like him too.

I am outraged by this. Field Lt. Campbell is dead wrong. That is in fact a picture (an infamous one for the family) of my twin brother. |

I've been adjusting to my new digs in Vicksburg and getting the grand Mahoning Brigade battle ready. Yes, sir. We march and drill by day and read Xenophon by night. * drains his glass and refills it * As far as the sword sharpener goes, well sir, General Mallory and myself are in a shin dig with two of your generals now. They seem to be having trouble sending couriers to General Mallory and I told them not to be intimidated by the "scalps" he has hanging in his tent. I told them that those are NOT Yankee scalps but rather skunk hides...which are pretty close to the same thing.
