My condolences to his family. Have not been in touch lately but I had the pleasure of crossing swords with him several times and enjoyed all our games.
He will be missed.

Gentlemen, The Army of Tennessee will observe a period of mourning, on the passing of Lieutenant General Tom Phillips on the 24th March 2023, of 7 days duration, in his honor and as a mark of respect and the esteem in which he was held by the Army. One minute dedicated in memory of our passed comrade in arms is proposed as a fitting tribute to him. May he Rest In Peace. |
