Why is it in some battles infantry can't melee with mounted cavalry and others it can? |

Under what circumstance did you observe an infantry unit melee a cav unit. It is very important that when questionable circumstances are reported that specifics are included. Also, save a file if needed to use when reporting to the WDS helpdesk. |

You can also melee mounted cavalry with infantry when they share a hex with non-cavalry units. That way you can’t use a mounted unit in a hex with artillery to prevent the hex from being assaulted by charging infantry. |

Yep they were with an unlimbered artillery unit. |
