Gents, I happen to really enjoy Alternate History (if written with a certain degree of historical knowledge & plausibility). This Alt History thread on Chickamauga is one of the two best I've ever read. The attention to detail & research into the terrain, the character of the generals, the maps etc etc really is impressive.
