Hello, everyone.
I am Filipe Costa Albano; a new member to the ACWGC community, from a little archipelago in the middle of the North Atlantic: The Azores.
Thanks to a fellow new member on here, whom I've met a few years ago and have become great friends with, I have been getting more and more acquainted (and as a result, more and more interested) in the American Civil War.
I recently finished my BA in History and will be pursuing a MA in Atlantic and Insular History (with a dissertation aimed at insular Religious History). God willing, a PhD will follow. For as much as my degree has not focused on it, I'll admit that Military History remains one of my guilty pleasures, and as a result I quite enjoy wargaming, in its many shapes and forms. (Though, admittedly, my favorite period still remains the French Revolution and Napoleonic Wars!)
I thank Mr. Nick Kunz for the warm welcome to the club, and Mr. Tim Reneau for currently training me!
