Gentlemen, If I may say a few words about the form. It is divided into three parts. The top part is for registering a new game. There are drop down menus to simplify some of the process. Use the comments section for anything you need to let me know. (For instance if there was an error on a previous registration). The form is pretty much self explanatory. I will send out an acknowledgment email to both players, the CoA's, the Army CO, and the Corps CO. The second section is the End Game form. Again it is pretty much self explanatory. I will be sending out game keys to both players as did the old system so that games can only be ended by the players with the key. Feel free to use the comment section to make comments about the game itself or the other players that you want them to read. I will forward the comments with the End Game Emails. End game emails wil go to all of those that received the start game information. The third section is to add other players in a Multi-player game. If you have more than 22 players in a multiplayer game simply file another report with the remaining players and say something in the comments section as to what you are doing. A couple of important notes to answer any concerns. First, you will note a disclaimer at the bottom of the form that this form and all data related to it are property of the ACWGC. I have given it freely to the club with no reservation. Second, this was done using Microsoft Access database software which many of you have. I will make the form available to anyone that wishes it for a back up. I am giving copies to Pierre for the ACWGC website to hold for backup and also a copy to Mark Nelms. If you have any problems or questions, my email is at the bottom of the form. Lt. Gen. Don Adams 5th Texas "Lone Star" Cavalry Brigade I/III ANV http://www.rootsandsaddles.com/index.htm ![]() |

Chris, To file an end game report for a game that you have not registered at this site simpy fill out both the start and end game sections at the same time and put a note in the comments about what you are doing. This will go on for a while until we get caught up from all of the games going on presently. Thanks. Lt. Gen. Don Adams 5th Texas "Lone Star" Cavalry Brigade I/III ANV http://www.rootsandsaddles.com/index.htm ![]() |

Ernie, I remember doing that email because it was the first game registered. [:D] However, I checked my sent box and don't see it so it must have been "computer operator error" and you know how those are.[:(] I will get it out immediately. Lt. Gen. Ernie, I nailed the problem down to a typo in your email address in my address book. Should be fixed now. Sorry for the delay. Lt. Gen. Don Adams 5th Texas "Lone Star" Cavalry Brigade I/III ANV http://www.rootsandsaddles.com/index.htm ![]() |
