Gentlemen, It is a great honor, as my first official act at Chief of the Armies, Confederate States of America, to announce the following General Officer promotions: Colonel Jim Pfluecke is promoted to Brigadier General. Colonel Kennon Whitehead is promoted to Brigadier General. Brigadier General Chris Cross is promoted to Major General. Brigadier General Mike Laabs is promoted to Major General. My thanks to General McBride for his invaluable assistance in handling the paperwork for these well-deserved promotions. Drinks are on me this day, in honor of these fine gentlemen.
