Has anyone had problems with XP when you installed the XP 2 Update from the download manager?? What sort of problems?? Has it crashed anyones machine?? I am currently backing mine up to prepare for this?? Also are there any problems that arise with the games after the update has been done?? Thanks!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------- Colonel Scott Ludwig ![]() Commanding Officer Army of Northern Virginia CSA Personal Command Tent For the Glory of Virginia!!
|

since I live out in the sticks with no DSL or Road Runner availble just dialup. I got Microsoft to send me a disc with SP2 and had no problem with installing it or XP running afterwards. No problems with installing any of the HPS games. Captain Gery Bastiani Fightin' Carolinians 4/2/II AotM CSA |

Only problems I had with XP was installing BGC, had to download the exe file that does away with the security check. Have had the SP2 since it was released and no problems with BG or HPS games. Lt.Gen.Ken Miller Veteran's Divsion VIII / AoS |

No problems here. Only complaint is now when I download a game zip file from opponents, it saves as some protected/quarantined file, and I have to open that and save it again as a zip file after a security prompt, then unzip the game file, and I can't figure out how to make it stop. It might be my DSL or Outlook program though, because I did them all at the same time and can't figure out which one is causing this extra step. But SP2 runs great, I highly recommend you install it.
