Since spam has become a real pain lately, the AoS and War College have adopted a new policy on email addresses on their pages. All addresses will have a meaningless tag ("ACWGC_") added in front which has to be removed for the address to work. This is to hopefully prevent our addresses from being grabbed by spammers and their nasty little software tools. We hereby submit that others who run pages in the service of the club consider adopting such a policy as well. If it is made official and every member is made aware of it, the bother factor is probably rather low, compared with the likely benefit. Gen. Walter, USA AoS / War College |
