Welcome to the war Lt, I think you will find most of your matches here to be as enjoyable for the comraderie as for the game itself.

Mind you, there are some here who will make you pine wistfully for the good ole AI (the "Best Opponent" thread is a partial list of these good gentlemen), but most of them are so nice about it that it takes some of the sting out of the massacre. Some of them play with your mind too [:D].

Kidding aside, have fun! That's what we're here for [:)].

Glad to see you having fun. That is what this club is all about! If you are playing the HPS games, under settings, make sure you check "Ask before advancing". That will keep you from advancing the turn accidentally. I don't think the TS games had this option.

Glad to have you aboard!

Lt Daley,

In my first battle outside of West Point I was obliterated at Gettysburg by then Col Tim Reneau. It wasn't even close.

The bruises have now faded and I'm hopefully both older and wiser. Tim and I have just started a Game of BGN Hooker's Debut so maybe I can get my own back!

Best Wishes,

I would say that the set back you have suffered is only temporary, and you have momentum going your way at this time.
