Finally found the time to paste together some color units.bmp that work with Campaign Penninsula. Have posted the usual three versions at my site http://home.comcast.net/~krmiller_cor/ under the Corinth Units.bmp link. Have started to research the Campaign Shiloh oob's but there a a number of different ones there so it will be some time before I get a units.bmp posted for it. Ken, Great work as usual! How about a set that shows nothing but a US flag for US troops and Confederate Battle flag for CSA troops? No pics. In otherwords, what if the entire US army took their hats off. all of a sudden it would be hard to pick out the Black Hats at Gettysburg. [:D] Lt. Gen. So we just use the ones labeled for Corinth in the Peninsula folders? Just double checking before I screw something up, lol. Regards, Lt. Col. Alan Lynn 3rd Battery "Jacksonville Greys" 4th Div, II Corps, AoA God bless <>< |

Col Lynn, The only file that works in more than one game is the original Corinth/Ozark file since there were no conflicts between these games and I made it to work with both. With the subsequent releases there were problems because a yank unit in one game used the same picture as a reb unit in another. This was fine with the B/W pictures but caused problem with the color ones and those with flags, so I created modified versions for each game. That's why the site shows additional downloads for Franklin, Gettysburg and Penninsula. Just download the zipfile for the game you want and extract it to the info folder of that game. There are still some problems with the artillery since one game used one picture for a particular type of gun and another game used a different one. One good thing is since there are three of them for each game you can use a different one in different games and not have to look at the same pictures all the time. Aha... I found them now. I was looking for an actual link on your site for those games instead of clicking under the Corith units link and scrolling down to find the Gettysburg and Peninsula files... I'll download them tonight when I get home and try them out. Thanks! Regards, Lt. Col. Alan Lynn 3rd Battery "Jacksonville Greys" 4th Div, II Corps, AoA God bless <>< |
