Is the John Tiller series generally accpted as the best Civil War series to play? I've seen a bit written about Meiers games, but from what little I can tell, Tiller's games seem more in-depth.

I think the Tiller Civil War games are the best available right now,
but I can't speak for everyone. They are turn-based, not real time like
the Sid Meiers games, which I've never played. This club was created
to facilitate email play of the John Tiller-designed Civil War games.

Sid,

I think I've played every one.....Many dollars spent.....The Sid Meiers games was a great effort in 3D but I feel the ball was dropped. I have grown to like the John Tiller HPS games. Get them all.......
