I'm running dual monitors, 1 19" LCD and then a 17" LCD...I can have my gaming up on the 19" and then e-mail or what ever on the other. I have to admit though, having one huge screen does sound very nice! [8D]

Hey Don,
Thats why you Generals get paided the BIG BUCKS[:D]to efford the high price toys. When I got my new Dell about two months ago I got it with a 19" flat screen. Now I'm in the process in installing a ATI Radeon X700 Pro graphics card hope this helps with the graphics.

I got the 20" 16:9 2005FPW last Christmas and it works great for large map areas. Not as big as the 2405 but only half the cost. I haven't tried it yet, but it will pivot sideways which may come in handy for those "taller" battles...

BTW, I just broke the century mark on forum posts. Do I get a medal or something?

I use 2 21-inch HP LCD side by side, set to portrait, and I love them. They seem to do well for the few videos I've seen on them, and the base/adjustable stands are really well done. I'd love one, but as you say they ain't cheap ($AUS 1000+) I reckon the best part is the amount of room they save on a desk, and I think they are a bit softer on the eyes for those of use staring at them all day.

You are a lucky fellow Doc. I think the best I'll be able to do is buy one of the old ones from work someday.

Cheers from Canberra.
