I want to advocate a couple of stand alone scenerios in the HPS Campaign system. I have tried 007 and Historical 1 in the Gettysburg system.

Historical 1 is very similer to Battleground Gettysburg 13h but of course, using the HPS system. So far(some seven games) its GREAT!!! With all the interest of the original battle but IMO a bit more realistic than BGG it really plays smooth and "feels" realistic.I think it will ultimatly be played as much as BGG 13a and h.

007 is not to my liking but to those who like the idea of really doing the battle in a different strategic way will like this one. It involves a really big map and moving a LOT of units but again the HPS system is nice and with the larger map both sides have more flexibility, I made the mistake of treating it like BGG 13h and did not fare as well as I would have liked[:(]

Again I highly recommend these two stand alones and was wondering what others thought about these two battles in particular and any other ones that they would recommend.

Playing the Day One equivalent of the old Out of the Mist in the HPS Gettysburg game is great as well. slightly larger map allows for more maneuverability and possible outcomes. I've enjoyed playing that one, both old and new.
