Just getting into Campigning so these observations are from a novice so I hopefully expect other fellas imput. The campaigns are not generic, Not only are the maps different and OOB`s but the entire "feel" is different. Campaign Corinth with huge maps and few units,Gettysburg with gigantic battles and Penisula which is still a mystery to me with its huge infantry units. Instead of the Battle being prelaid out-the Commanders decide when and even if to fight. Cavalry really does scout. Since tactics AND strategy come into play skill levels might really be different- these are fun to play but extremely difficult to master. Also with so many branches and battles there`s no Bible on play so to speak as we now have to figure it out for ourselves(ouch[:I]) The stand alone battles are good, thus we have a lifetime of play already developed. Finding dependable opponents is vital and since ya fight so long and so often ya need a certain speed in the bigger Campaigns. Also, relationships will become more intense as ya get to know the other fella over months of combat. Two thumbs up from this newbie!!![:)][:D][8D] Lt Colonel Tony Best Army of Georgia |

I am intrigued by your observations. I have also sent a courier, since all my pickets must have shot yours. Let's put your observations into practice. |
