I’m in trouble again fellas and I need some more help. Martha and I were sitting out here minding our own business … which is the stills, and a handsome little business it is trying to keep up with everybody’s medicinal needs for several hollows over … when all of a sudden that revenooer that took Martha’s place standing in the middle of the stream holding the electrical wires together so that I can do my gaming, well he let out with a yell that was quite different from the ones that he usually let out when I turned the electricity on. Well that yell startled Martha and me enough, and was downright unmannerly seeing as how Martha’s hair still ain’t laid down none since she let go of those wires and her skin is just now starting to dry out with it not being quite so pruney anymore. Martha and I weren’t used to hearing yelps of happiness out of the feller though and that’s what that horrid sound was all about. He’d done seen something that we hadn’t seen that made him mighty happy. You see, it weren’t five seconds gone by and pouncing right in front of us was none other than Sheriff Clifford T. Dufus, and he said “I’m Sheriff Clifford T. Dufus†|

It's Ned with his still that's just down the hill So Dufus unbar the door he's a going. Martha can stay but oh by the way She's the one who makes the best brew. We'll untie her too and dipdabbittydo What a team they make for some sippin. Ned has been seen straining His blen thru those socks he's a wearin. Gentlemen, Now I really AM confused as to whether General Simms will be meeting us at the Landing or not! [?] Before, there were four of us planning to be there -- two Yanks and two Rebs, an even number from both sides. I suppose we can count General Simms as half-and-half, and we're still even [:)] !
