The push to Culps Hill continued, as Early brought his strong division online. Pender and what was left of Heth finally seemed to secure Seminary Ridge after a vicious fight with Wadsworth. With the arrival of Anderson in theatre, it looked like a thrust towards the town was now immenent, with the arrival of the reserve artillery brigade.
