As dusk begins to fall, the armies are hopelessly entwined. On the rebel left, the Union [XIICORPS] moves steadily thru the woods near Culps Hill. On the Union left, new fresh troops oppose the picketts in their front. But in the center, all along the line, fierce fighting still reverberates across the valley.
