Gentlemen,

A number of years ago, there was a post on these forums about some of the liberties that map designers took during their labors. For example, the shark fin in the pond at Murfreesboro and the fisherman at Shiloh. I got a real kick out these quirks but I've forgotten most of them.

I'm hoping that all of you members who have discovered these various gems will post them here for all of us to hunt down and enjoy. Thanks in advance!

Very Respectfully,

Col Eagle

Ah yes, I forgot about that ring of fairies. Thanks! Anyone know of any others?

I always thought they were native americans or a witches brew. The clothes on the line is a recurring theme on the Shiloh map. [:)]

I am loath to close. We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained it must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory, stretching from every battlefield and patriot grave to every living heart and hearthstone all over this broad land, will yet swell the chorus of the Union, when again touched, as surely they will be, by the better angels of our nature.
