Gentlemen, FYI:

I've asked General Scott Ludwig to serve as CSA Western Theater commander and he has accepted. General Gene Nix will be serving as CSA Chief of Staff. Both of these officers are former army commanders and their experience will no doubt prove invaluable.

General Nix is moving from Tennessee this summer to a new postion in South Carolina, so he won't be available right away. General Ludwig has agreed to serve as Interim CSA Chief of Staff until General Nix is able to assume his duties in the fall.

There were several highly qualified officers being considered for these positions. The depth of experience in those individuals, not to mention their willingness to serve, has further confirmed to me the stability of this club for years to come.

Please join me in a toast to General Ludwig and to General Nix.
