Post subject:  Hps Gettysburg Campaign Challenge

To the Leader of the invading army.

After your ignominous defeat at the past battle of chanclorsville I present you the opportunity to redeem yourselves. I am about to embark on a new campaign.
This my northern friends is where I"ve run into a problem.Seems to me that me and my higher up Mr. Davis have had our first disagreement but I have bowed to his wishes. It seems we have a new unit up from a small village called Key West Florida. They call themselves the Girlie Man Unit and Girlie they be too. They are quite the domestics, quite handy with needle and thread and with a skillet too but it seems they have more on their mind then camp chores. You see I hate to admit it but we are having recruitment problems here in the south and with Mr. Davis being loathe to arm the slaves we must recruit wherever we can.He claims these fellows are quite feisty and will make good fighters and fighters is what they claim they want to be.I do not like the idea myself and their have been some grumblings from the rest of my manly men troops. These Girlie men are quite ambitious too. They claim they are not satisfied to repel the northern invader from southern soil but wish to conquer the north and hook up with another colony of girlie Men in a place called P-Town Massachusettes. What they propose to do is carry the war to the north.I do say quite a bold proposition and one I"ve been considering myself so these fellows do have some admirable attributes.I was told they came with uniforms and their own arms but now that they're here it seems their has been some confusion. You see they are dressed entirely in womens undergarments and they sport a unit flag of a rainbow on a lavendar background.Quite peculiar I'd say. They do seem to me to be clad with weapons of some sort.Mostly whips, chains other paraphanalia and several hundred live gerbils.Don"t ask,I have not a clue.Their discipline is quite lax, they dance in formation and make lewd cat calls at all hours of the day and night but I do admire their morale. They always seem to be how ahould i say? Quite gay almost all the time.I shall correct the discipline proble immediately.I am placing them in Johnsons Division under BG Walker in the Stonewall Brigade in the 2nd Va..Quite a disciplined outfit. In deference to the members of this unit I have spread them in the other units of the stonewall brigade so that the Girlie men can have their own unit.
Now my northern friends I have these spawn from hell at my command wether I wish it so or not. They claim it's "massachusettes or bust" which say is even more adventurous then I planned. It"s your job to stop them.I am going about this like King David did with Uriah the Hittite.I plan on throwing them into the heat of battle thats why I threw them in a crack brigade (pun intended). They will either prove themselves or will perish in the attempt.By the way did I mention when reaching Mass.they claim they are going to petition the federal government for the rights to marry and adopt children?Let them have it yank.Full canister at 20 paces.
What this comes down too Is their any yank out there that will stand up and say Enough and meet me and my army for a full campaign of the gettysburg HPS style?I can play roughly 5 turns a week, maybe more and rules are open to suggestion.fog of war of course and i do like turn based play best but will play phase if you like.If their is any yank up to the challenge to stop the might of the southern army and the possible destruction of the American family let me know and we can meet on the fields around brandy station at 4 am sharp 6-9-1865.

Dance card is now full.We have a yank that has defied the 2nd va and the army of northern va to try and get across the rappahannock let alone advance into northern territory let alone massachusettes.
