Robert Frost has graciously reworked the PDT (parameter data file) for the Corinth engine. The Parameter Data file governs the firepower and effectiveness of weapons (among a host of other game variables. Frost has modified the default PDT to make changes in artillery firepower. There has been much talk of artillery being neutered in the new HPS games. Frost's PDT changes the parameter data to specifically address these concerns. The changes offer increased short-range firepower to more accurately reflect cannister shot. I recently played a Corinth scenario (2nd day's battle) using the Frost PDT file and I highly recommend it. It was nice to see artillery be useful for a change in a Corinth game.
