Post subject:  Any Battleground PBEM opponents?

I would love to play a battle with a human opponent.

I have the original disks for Shiloh, Bull Run, Antietam, and Gettysburg, I am not sure what HPS is and I may need the patches to update the program.
We can discuss which scenario to play out, options etc.... I do prefer to play on the Union side. I can generally play at least one move a day (sometimes more).

Suh!

I have sent a Courier to Yuh Tent explaining a little about the Club. [:)]

Mah Apologies if'n Yuh are already a Member of the ACWGC. [:D]

If this is the case, might Ah humbly request Yuh to edit Yuh original Post, signing your Name, Rank, Command and Army at the end. (Please examine a few of the other posts on the PBEM Board. A Signature in this format is the Norm here and in fact, is stipulated in the ACWGC Rules as a "must" for all Posts on the Club boards!) [8D]

I humbly suggest that You visit http://www.wargame.ch/wc/acw/ACWmainpage.htm for an explanation of the ACWGC, it's Methods and Purpose.

I would also recommend that You visit http://members.tripod.com/garyned/ also. This page contains alot of links that would serve You well - for a "Tour" of the various sections of the Club.

If Ye like what Ye see - I would direct you to http://pages.infinit.net/wargame/ACW_Fo ... ation.html where You could enrol to fight on the Rebel Side.

If Ye would prefer to enlist in the Union Army . . . visit http://pages.infinit.net/wargame/ACW_Fo ... ation.html

Hopefully, You will be interested in joining the ACWGC . . as You will see from your "Tour" . . . we have a great deal of Fun and Camraderie in the two Armies AND we strive to give the Membership more than just a "Points Ladder" - in fact, there are some Members, who Role Play within the American Civil War period - which is an entertainment in itself.

For further assistance/Questions or Info, Please do not hesitate to contact me and I'll help Ye where I can OR direct Ye to someone who has more experience in Enrolling new Members.

Many Thanks Suh! <Salute!>

Regards,

Pat. [;)]
