I know the good General van Dorn may be busy at the moment clearing his name in that 'affair of the heart' business, but if any of his Confederate collegues would care to meet the boys in blue at HPS Corinth, we are ready and willing. For my own part, a scenario under 40 turns would do nicely if you have any suggestions. I have no preference for optional rules and can probably manage 5+ turns a week depending on scenario size. Lt. Beno (see bellow), is looking for a campaign if there are any takers.

Major Virts,

You have watch those sneaky rebs, they'll gang up on you[}:)]. So if you you get too many, you take van Dorn and I'll take Price. I'd love to start a Corinth Campaign.

So it seems like van Dorn and Price are both being sought out by two Yankees looking for a scrape (long or short) at Corinth. Any gentlemen of the South out there willing to take up the gauntlets?

Well Major,

Seems the best we could get with a challenge was one reb running by the door yelling out "I don't know how to get to Corinth."[:o)]

Maybe they can't read, maybe they're afraid of two of us or maybe they are at a shad bake, but it must be embarrasing to not meet a challenge like this[B)]. Therefore, to save the rebs from having their honor called into question twice, I formally remove my request for an opponent.

With that said, there is only one thing left, and I'll say it loud because maybe they are deaf drunk too:

Any johnnie willing to save face and give battle at or around Corinth?

Contact Major Virts above.
