Club Members,
The following schedule for elections for Cabinet officials is hereby posted. The first half of 2025 will be a busy one in this regard. All Cabinet terms have a two-year serving period and so the next elections will not be until the start of 2027.
The office of the President of the ACWGC:
January 5 - 11: Nominations
January 12 - 25: Campaigning
January 26 - 31: Voting
Currently held by Tom Marshall, CSA, who is eligible to run again if he chooses.
Qualifications: Rank of Colonel or above. Must receive two nominations, sent to the Cabinet via email, to be placed on the ballot officially.
The office of the Union General-in-Chief:
Jan. 30 - Feb. 6: Nominations
Feb. 7 - 21: Campaigning
Feb. 22 - March 1: Voting
Currently held by Mitch Johnson, USA, temporarily. Mitch is eligible to run for the office permanently.
Qualifications: Rank of Union Major General or above. Must receive two nominations, sent to the Cabinet via email, to be placed on the ballot officially.
The office of the Confederate Cabinet Secretary:
March TBD
Currently held by Steve Griffith, CSA, who is eligible to run again if he chooses.
Qualifications: Rank of Confederate Colonel or above. Must receive two nominations, sent to the Cabinet via email, to be placed on the ballot officially.
The office of the Confederate General-in-Chief:
April TBD
Currently held by Blake Strickler, CSA, who is eligible to run again if he chooses.
Qualifications: Rank of Confederate Major General or above. Must receive two nominations, sent to the Cabinet via email, to be placed on the ballot officially.
The office of the Union Cabinet Secretary:
May TBD
Currently held by Walt Dortch, USA, who is eligible to run again if he chooses.
Qualifications: Rank of Union Colonel or above. Must receive two nominations, sent to the Cabinet via email, to be placed on the ballot officially.
