Has the ability to assault across fords changed with the latest patch? I seem to recall (and this is only a vague recollection) that in the previous version one could only assault/move across fords in column. Now it appears that one can melee across fords in line formation. Larry |

Larry- This is true only in our present game- you were able to walk across the ford in line by stepping on the Colonial corpses- Dwight Ens Dwight Conlan Eastern Dept 3rd Brigade- 5th Regiment Col Dwight Conlan 5th Artillery- Immortals 2nd Div- III Corps- ANV Lt Dwight Conlan 1/6 Artillerie a Chaval ere Brig-2eme Div Cavalerie Legere-II Corps Armee du Nord |

Larry, I haven't noticed it in '12 (and I sure could've used that ability at Plattsburg!) In a new version game with Tim Moore, umm...Branywine, I wasn't able to move across the fords in line. Sgt. Al Amos - 1st US Dragoons, 1812 |

I can only move across bridges/fords in column, in all versions of 1776 or 1812.
