I have purchased the game and downloaded the latest version and have completed my first battle...Battle Road (as a militiaman) so I thought I'd share the results with anyone who cares to listen. The Regulars were out in force and it took little time before the alarm had spread to nearly every town within 50 miles of Boston. These Regulars though splendid in uniform and drill soon found themselves in a wrong way at Concord bridge. We gave them shot for their shot and stood our ground till they retreated from the bridge and the town. Not at any time did these lobsterbacks take a stand and face us but rather they chose to march and die in column toward the safty of Boston. This day was little more than a turkey shoot as 834 Regulars and 9 Officers were dispatched here today. It is with no small regret however, that I must report the loss of 120 Militia from various towns in Eastern Massachusetts. ............ Well, that was my first engagement and I look forward to many more, not against an AI but rather against a human Lobsterback. At any rate, it's good to be here and I look forward to gaming with all of you guys. Tom Boyce unassigned |
